About Sarah

Sarah is a Scrum Master/Project Manager at a software company in Boulder, CO. On the side, she is in the very early stages of her first startup and is writing two cookbooks–one based upon the recipes of her grandmother, a real Rosie the Riveter. She shares her home and life with her husband and high school sweetheart Rich and their three cats Sulley, Angel, and Boomerang.

- Agile software development: frameworks and engineering practices
- IT generalist (8 years working in web, infrastructure, support, and more)
- Technical lead on project recognized for innovation as a CIO Magazine Top 100 IT Project
- Interested in startups, smart uses of data, multi-discipline projects, process improvement, science & health, legal issues (particularly IP law)

Hobbies
- Cooking – especially foreign cuisine
- Crafting – currently focused on knitting
- Preserving family history – have digitally stored over 10,000 family photos to date, including dating, tagging, and categorization as possible
- Museums and aquariums – most do while traveling
